Having the same issue as 0.6, lumberjacks just not moving.
I did read the response to that bug report that mentioned the time taken to scan all objects, so I left if running, went through about 350 food worth of time with only the 2 lumberjacks consuming it.
Edit (sort of)... had 1 more idea I wanted to try before hitting post and tabbed back in game, used the tent to pass the night and the lumberjacks both started moving immediately. Can't really test that myself for repeatability just at the moment, could be coincidence but the timing was way too exact!
Are you using the most recent version of Realm of Rulers 0.8? If so then I can have a look into fixing this further. We are working on a solution for some of the landscape trees to be counted as resources for the AI. When this happens this issue should never happen again. At the moment its just an issue as we are dealing with ~500 trees in the system for lumberjacks. The gatherers on the other hand only have ~100 resources to look through. This is why they didn't have many problems.
I will look into this to see if I can make a button to fix the AI temporarily. For example I will try to add a force restart for the stuck AI lumberjacks.
If that's a typo and you mean 0.8, yes... if there is a 0.9 out, no I only see options to d/l 0.8!
I did a bit more tinkering since posting.... I'm 100% convinced the lumberjacks originally were stuck, I've now seen the normal behaviour and the longer delay for them over other types and this was a good 15-20 times longer, so not even the same ball park. I really think passing night was what unstuck them. In that same save, the next 3 hires were a farmer and 2 gatherers, all of whom got stuck and passing night didn't work. I had gatherers earlier in the same save that had worked fine, too!
